The most crucial aspect of online shopping is trust. That's why I want to introduce myself and let you know who is behind New Beginnings.

My name is Karen. I'm married to Richard, and I have two grown children from a previous marriage, along with four wonderful grandchildren. For two decades, I worked as a Lottery Administration Manager for the Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Club. Before that, I enjoyed my time working at C&A (who else misses that store?). In January 2021, I found myself unemployed for the first time, which inspired me to start this venture during lockdown. I began by buying clothes online and selling them on Facebook. Within three months, I launched the website, and by July 2022, I had opened a physical shop in the center of Marsden, Huddersfield.

I aim to offer unique and distinctive stock, including beautiful creations from Ophelia's World, which are exclusive to New Beginnings and made right here in Huddersfield.

I have a passion for gardening, growing my own flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Nothing brings me more joy than spending time with my grandkids or vacationing with Richard on a Greek island.
